Black and White Revival was established in North Bedfordshire in 1992 and provides a bespoke professional service for the conservation and restoration of photographs using traditional techniques including darkroom printing.

All work is undertaken by me personally at my studio in Radwell, north Bedfordshire to the highest archival standards.  Please call or email to arrange an appointment to discuss your individual requirements.

I commenced study of photography in New York in 1986 and continued, on my return to the UK, with a 3 year City and Guilds Photography course at Nene College, Northampton. Passing with distinction, I was  awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society.

This was followed by two years of independent study in the art of Restoration and           Conservation of photographs with ongoing studies at Camberwell College of Arts.

Established in practice in 1992, I specialise in traditional Restoration, Conservation and reproduction of old photographs producing silver halide photographs in the darkroom to ensure archival permanence.
