Bedford 50 Years Ago: Based on a thesis written by Victor Farrar in 1957, when he was qualifying as an architect. His aim was to show the fine buildings of Bedford before "architectural hooliganism" destroyed part of the town's heritage. The book was published posthumously by his old school, Bedford Modern in 2007.
