TALKS: “Photographs: Past, Present and Future”
Talks cover an introduction to the history of photography, problems occurring with old photographs and how these are rectified and finally how to care for your collection including storage and framing.
Actual examples of photographs are displayed as well as archival storage items for purchase. Attendees at talks are invited to bring along their own photographs for free advice. Talks can be tailored to your time and content requirements.

For clients in the Uppingham area I now offer a service through The Rug Studio on High Street East where you are welcome to leave your photographs for collection or call in to discuss your requirements during one of my visits.
The Rug Studio offers a complete sales and restoration service for antique and semi-old rugs whilst also representing the latest in designer trends:
A premium service to transfer slides to disc offering full colour correction, restoration and copied to archival gold disc.
Budget services are widely available for bulk transfers but be aware these do not offer any individual slide treatment.

- Silver halide darkroom prints up to 12” x 16” including authentic sepia toning
- Prints made from old glass and film negatives
COMPILATION OF FAMILY ARCHIVES:
I also offer a full compilation service for your collection of photographs, ephemera etc. including repairs to works of art on paper and can advise and supply relevant archival quality storage.
